My sweet gentle “Toy Boy” passed away at home unexpectedly on 15th October 2011 🙁    A very sad way to end the day.    Kube is now back home with the rest of his pack both past and present – sleeping inside where he belongs. xoxoxo

Kube was the son of Ice & Biscuit.  He was the product of an uncle x niece mating and was the 4th generation of Macumazahn breeding.

He was a very sweet, lovely natured boy – whom just loved to snuggle up with me on the couch or in bed.  I think he  learnt this trait very quickly from the others !!   Each day when I got home from work, or just being out, he would bring me a toy as a gift – hence his nick name of “Toy Boy”  🙂   Kube loved life right to the very end running and playing with the others in his pack on the beach each day.

Kube  retired from the show ring after winning Challenge Dog at the South Australian Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialty Show November 2006 under USA  Judge Miss Stacey Davis.

On 20th & 21st March, 2004 – the 7th Rhodesian Ridgeback National was hosted by the Victorian Rhodesian Ridgeback Club (Melbourne) judged by Mrs. Dorothy Grayson-Wood (UK), “Isiqa Rhodesian Ridgebacks” – Kube was awarded Australian Bred In Show.  Kube continues his winning way under specialist judges both local and international.

On the weekend of 4th & 5th October, 2003 in Sydney under Breeder Judge Mrs. Ann Gates (UK) “Eagleridge” Rhodesian Ridgebacks – KUBE was awarded BEST IN SHOW from an entry of 174.  This brought  Macumazahn Kennels Best In Specialty Show tally to 13.

Kube was awarded Best In Show on 31st August 2003 at the South Australian Open Show Specialty.

On 6th & 7th July, 2002 – the 6th Rhodesian Ridgeback National was hosted by the RR Club of Western Australia (Perth).  The Judge was Mr. Richard van Aken (South Africa).  He and his wife breed under the prefix of “Cartouche”.  He awarded Kube – Challenge dog and Runner Up Best In Show.  This makes Kube the second of my breeding to take out one of the top awards at National level.

Kube attended the Victorian Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialty show on 25th March, 2001 and was awarded Best Baby In Show by breeder judge Miss Sharon Rossiter (Scotland).  There were 9 baby boys and 9 baby girls at this show.  His half sister – Rijstone Avalon – was awarded Opposite Baby In Show.   We went to Sydney Specialty in September, 2001 – Kube was awarded 2nd in Puppy Dog under breed specialist Mr. Dick Rupert (USA).

Kube gained his Australian Champion title on 10th June 2002 with a 24pt Best of Breed win. Kube gained his Endurance Title on 28th June, 2003.

Kube’s sister – “Huni”lived in Western Australia with Tracey Murray of  Nkanyezi” Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
